Meeting Jett was like a drug. Dangerous. Addictive. And better forbidden. In his game, there’s a high price to be paid. But how much is too much?

Brooke Stewart, a realtor in New York, was never in love until she met the green eyed, sexy as sin, six foot two sex god, Jett. The man to whom she surrendered. The man who hurt her once only to conquer her heart again.

Sexy, handsome, and arrogant Jett Mayfield knows he has found his match. Brooke is like no other woman he’s ever met and he has every intention of keeping her in his bed.

Their future seems full of promise…until the past is catching up with them and dark secrets threaten to destroy their lives. Soon they realize that to love means to lose, and some choices are harder than others.

When everything comes crashing down, can mistakes be amended…or will he lose her forever?

A woman who surrendered to love.

A man who would do anything to protect her.

Two lives that are about to be tested…and the last secrets laid bare.

I am going to give this book 3.5 stars. I won’t lie, a lot of that might be because I really had the hots for Jett and it may or may not have to do with his name and tattoos, don’t judge me, I will try my hardest to keep this spoiler free so excuse my vagueness now!

Soooooo book three was supposed to have all of the answers that book two did not only, I still have a lot of unanswered questions with a few more thrown in that I clearly am not getting answers to. Unless of course they happen to make it into the Christmas novella, I won’t hold my breath though. This book way more than the others was dark and got darker and darker as you read. It kept me in suspense from start to finish and just as confused. More than once I found my self saying ‘What in the f@$% just happened?!” Much to the delight of the guy running on the treadmill next to me at the gym. Yes, I read at the gym again, don’t judge me. Bombshell after bombshell were dropped on me and some pertained to the goings on in books one and two and some not so much, at least I don’t think! I’m telling you I was confused!

I was incredibly surprised at the lack of sex in this one compared to the others. Don’t get me wrong, there was sex and it was hot but this book was definitely more about the mystery than the relationship in my opinion. I also think that a lot of it was POSSIBLY set up for future books that could be spin-offs to this trilogy. Maybe the answers will be there?! Ok, maybe not. I’ll still probably read them though, just in case! At times while reading this book I felt like I was reading three different books at once, all of which I would have enjoyed on their own but did not always jive in this one book. If you read one and two, how can you not read three?! I was at 80% and thought that there was no way there wasn’t going to be a book 4. I will also read the novella and like I said most likely the spin0offs, which I firmly believe, there will be. As confused and left in the dark as I was I still found the book enjoyable and breezed right through it mostly because I was sure the answers were on the next page but also because it isn’t poorly written just not as tight as I normally like.

Key players:

Jett is your badass hot as sin alpha male that is shrouded in mystery and an air of danger, which we FINALLY get a little more inside on! He spends most of the book dealing with messes whether they are his fathers or Brookes is irrelevant because they are KIND OF one and the same.

Then there is Brooke who still just IS for me. She’s a little wishy washy, careless as hell with her pregnant self, not very trusting of her baby daddy and defiant without the confidence needed to go along with it. Although, she does have one badass moment that I am not going to tell you about, sorry! We are introduced to Jett’s older brother Jonathan in this book along with some important people from Jett’s bad boy Fast and Furious-ish gang past and then a brief showing of the BFF from hell Sylvie. Who is actually normal this time around not making me feel quite so stabby which is a plus!

I give 3.5 stars to Treasure Your Love by J.C. Reed
