Sweet, but Sexy: From The Heart

The little things often mean the most, but they can also be the most overlooked.

Today, the heels of shoes are getting higher while the necklines are getting lower. TV shows and movies are getting more graphic. The same goes for book covers. Often the sexiness of a simple smile or a thoughtful gesture can be discounted, as main stream media pushes.

Sexy can be a long walk on an empty beach at sunset. Sexy can be flowers received just because. It can also be about a gentle touch. Holding hands.

When I first began writing All That’s Unspoken, included in the Sweet, but Sexy Boxed Set, it became apparent to me that this tale, was a sweet one. What stood between Nate and Hailey were the words they hadn’t said to each other and the things they hadn’t done for each other. They were divided by their inability to express how they feel. So…those little things they did do, became monumental.

A kindness to the hero’s daughter from the heroine, touches him much more than a flash of skin. To the heroine, having the hero sit with her while her father is in surgery means more than a physical attribute. The act of showing deep love to one another…definitely Sweet, but Sexy.
