Holiday Hop

Ready or not, Christmas is right around the corner, which means shopping, food, family — and holiday romances! This season, award winning authors Jill Shalvis, Carolyn Brown, Terry Spear, and Sarah Morgan each have Christmas romances releasing. To get readers into the giving spirit, the authors answer the following question: What is your characters’ favorite holiday tradition?

Ladies, take it away!

One In A Million by Jill ShalvisJill Shalvis author of One in a Million

Tanner and Callie are all about staying up late on Christmas Eve, sharing eggnog and their gifts to each other, and then lying beneath the Christmas tree and looking up at the twinkling lights, holding hands, and knowing that the best gift they have is lying right next to them.

When Finn first moves onto the ranch in Burnt Boot, Texas, he figures he and his dog will spend the holidays alone in peace and quiet. But soon fate pitches a monkey wrench into his plans. He quickly discovers that he loves having Callie and her nephew, Martin, on the ranch. Decorating the house with them and Verdie, the older lady who’d sold him the ranch and come back for a visit, is the first of what he hopes will become a tradition for years to come. Verdie has tons of decorations up in the attic that he had no idea he’d bought. The day they unbox it all is noisy and filled with laughter and Finn is more than willing to trade all the peace in the world for more days like this.

  1. I really enjoyed Sarah Morgan’s Sleigh Bells in the Snow 🙂 What a fantastic bunch of authors, all those books are on my TBR list!

  2. My favorite holiday read is Olivia Helps With Christmas. I know it is not an adult book but it is a great family read 🙂

  3. I do not really read holiday books as much as most people. But, I did love An Angel for Emily by Jude Deveraux.

  4. I really don’t have a favorite, I do enjoy reading a lot of the Christmas books that come out this time of the year. I did read, like the blogger above, An Angel for Emily by Jude Deveraux. Jude Deveraux is one of my favorite authors.
