When you can’t resist the one person who could destroy you…

Sia O’Donnell can’t help but push the limits. She secretly attends every underground MMA fight featuring The Predator, the undisputed champion. When he stalks his prey in the ring, Sia is mesmerized. He is dominant and dangerous and every instinct tells her to run.

Every beautiful thing Ray “The Predator” touches he knows he’ll eventually destroy. Soft, sweet and innocent, Sia is the light to Ray’s darkness-and completely irresistible. From the moment he lays eyes on her, he knows he’s going to have to put his dark past behind him to win her body and soul.

I’ve already had a couple of five star reads this year but Full Contact tops them all. I recently finished another book by Sarah Castille, so I went into this one knowing I would like it and hoping I would love it. This is the third in the Redemption series but I don’t think it was necessary to read the first two (although I will go back and do just that). There was enough back story that referenced incidents with the couples in those previous books to give me a feel for this story. And what a story it was.

Sia O’Donnell is a former painter turned tattoo artist who is trying to get her life back after a devastating attack when she was a teenager. She’s the sister of Tag, the former MMA fighter known as Fuzz. He teaches and trains at Redemption along with other amateur and underground MMA fighters. Ray “The Predator” Black is one of those fighters. He’s known for his strength and dominance, in and out of the ring. Nobody seems to know much about The Predator outside of his wrestling persona, but that doesn’t stop Sia from becoming hopelessly fascinated with him.

I absolutely loved Sia and Ray. They seemed incredibly real to me (even though my world does not at all consist of tattoo artists and MMA fighters). Sia was strong, hopeful and resilient, yet oh so vulnerable. Ray spotted her, and that vulnerability, and it immediately sent his protective streak into overdrive. There are things in his life, his real life, that could endanger not only Sia but what they have together, and until he sorts them out, he’s extremely careful to keep her in the dark. Unfortunately for him, in the dark is where Sia refuses to stay. She falls for the Predator hook, line and sinker and knows he is unable to resist her, too.

The chemistry between them was explosive. Sarah Castille knows how to write a steamy love scene, that’s for sure. Ray knew how to push the boundaries with Sia without hurting or threatening her or her peace of mind. He was alpha to the core, but could sweet talk and/or dirty talk her like nobody’s business. I loved the relationships they had with the secondary characters, too. Sia’s bond with her brother was watertight, and I liked how the rest of the Redemption group had her back.

Sometimes a book just works. I love when the author gets everything right. Sia and Ray were so hot together, and they were so vulnerable to each other. They were a perfect couple wrapped up in a sexy, exciting, emotional romance. If I could give this book ten stars I would.

I give Full Contact by Sarah Castille 5 stars!
