They call me the Bad Bitch. A lesser woman might get her panties in a twist over it, but me? I’m the one who does the twisting. Whether it’s in the courtroom or in the bedroom, I’ve never let anyone – much less a man – get the upper hand.

Except for that jerk attorney Lincoln Granade. He’s dark, mysterious, smoking hot and sexy as hell. He’s nothing but a bad, bad boy playing the part of an up and coming premiere attorney. I’m not worried about losing in a head to head battle with this guy. But he gets me all hot and bothered in a way no man has ever done before. I don’t like a person being under my skin this much. It makes me want to let go of all control, makes me want to give in. This dangerous man makes me want to submit to him completely, again, and again, and again…

Wow. That’s all I thought after finishing this book. Just…wow. Let me clarify, in a good way…WOW. Christina Saunders seriously blew me away with Bad Bitch and as my first book by her, I cannot wait to read book two.

Evangeline is a woman you do not mess with. She has no problem chewing you up and spitting you out. And perhaps bedding you before…or hell, after she gets through with you. She’s bold, she’d brazen and she will take you down in court. Until she meets Lincoln, the opposing counsel in her biggest case yet. A case that could catapult her firm into the stratosphere and pad her pockets for a very long time. Lincoln is hiding something, she knows it, and she’ll do whatever it takes to get him to tell her everything he has on her client. If she gets to enjoy him between the sheets in the meantime, well win win for her.

Lincoln has his reasons for trying Evangeline’s scumbag client in NYC instead of New Orleans where he is from. He needs this case. He’s been after this guy for a long time, not just because of what he has done, but what else he knows. Evangeline might be collateral damage but that’s just how it goes. Lincoln thinks he has everything worked out until he actually starts to care about the woman everyone refers to as the “bad bitch” of NYC.

At the beginning of the book, I’ll admit I wasn’t sure how Christina would get me on board with a main character who was a heinous bitch who couldn’t care less who she hurt on her path to the top. Then I started to see Evangeline beneath the persona she had built. How she cared for her co-workers and felt an intense need to make them as strong as she could before they moved on. How she hid from the world, afraid to ask anyone for help.

Lincoln seemed to soothe her frayed edges that she hid from everyone. He made her feel safe and connected again. I just loved them together. There is a control element to this one that just ramped up the hotness of these two. Lincoln definitely knows what buttons to push to get his bad bitch on board with whatever he had planned. The side story of his relationship with his brothers was a good lead in to book two, which is his brother Washington’s story, the brother that he had a falling out with years ago and who has a cameo in this one that drives a wedge between him and Evangeline quite nicely.

There was plenty of scorching sex and action throughout Bad Bitch that had me rapidly turning pages until the very end. I fully recommend picking this one up!

I give Bad Bitch by Christina Saunders 5 stars!
