In the steamy and suspenseful sequel to Sugar Daddy (“A totally gripping take on romance and revenge!”—Lauren Blakely), a heartbreaking rift threatens to unravel a dangerous alliance . . . and a fragile new love.

After posing as an escort for the Sugar Bowl online dating service, Sela Halstead is looking for one thing: payback. She’s closing in on the site’s heartless founder, Jonathon Townsend, and she needs Beckett North, Townsend’s business partner and her lover, by her side. She’d thought that their intimate nights together had forged an unbreakable bond, but after a shocking betrayal, Sela begins to doubt the brilliant bad boy. When push comes to shove, can she trust Beck to do the right thing?

Now that he understands the truth, Beck will stop at nothing to secure the reckoning Sela deserves. But between his desire for her and his disgust for JT, Beck doesn’t exactly have a lot of control over his emotional state. Left with no other choice, he must summon all his discipline to maintain JT’s trust and pretend that they’re still friends. But how far will Beck go to prove his loyalty to Sela? He nearly lost her once. To keep her, Beck might have to kill for her.

Note: Sugar Rush ends on a cliffhanger. Sela and Beck’s story concludes in Sugar Free!

Sugar Rush picks up exactly where Sugar Daddy left off. Beck had just thrown Sela out when he found her in his office and Sela just let Beck know the truth about how she knows his best friend and business associate, JT.

Once Beck takes the time to think things through, he realizes that what Sela is telling him is the absolute truth. He’s dealt with all the trauma and horrible things that go along with rape as his sister was a victim. Hopefully, Sela will forgive him for throwing her out and they can get back to the place they were.

A good portion of this book is about Beck and Sela’s relationship growing and the two of them coming together to get justice for the wrong done to her. I really wasn’t sure how

Beck and Sela would come back from what Beck thought were lies and deceit on Sela’s part. Sela finally gets the opportunity to tell Beck everything that happened to her on her birthday ten years ago. Beck is absolutely disgusted by his friend, JT, and wants retribution for his Sela.

During the truth being laid out, you can truly feel Beck’s rage and heart breaking. Even once all the cards are laid out on the table and with their talk of revenge, you can sense that they both are now looking at in all in a different light. They discuss how it will affect their future together. Beck also opens up about his situation with his sister Caroline and their family dramatics. There is a small look into Beck’s family and you really understand where he is coming from and why he was the way he was before Sela.

“Everything I do is with the idea in mind of solidifying my future with her.” ~Beck

Beck and Sela are just so remarkable together. I really could feel their emotions and knew exactly when they both realized they were in love. The sex between the two of them was once again mind-blowingly hot and so very sexy.

There are so many things I want to tell you about this book! Unfortunately, I would spoil all of your enjoyment by doing so. Most times when you read a series, some of the books are just not as good as they could be. I will say that Sugar Rush is one hell of a continuation of the Sugar Bowl series. It was just as good as the first, if not better. As with the first book in the series, there are so many unpredictable twists that keep those pages turning. I even went back and reread parts because I just could not believe what was happening! Especially that ending……

Sawyer Bennett, you have done it again. I cannot wait until October for the final book in the series. What do you have in store for us? What will Sugar Free bring??? I cannot wait to find out!

I give Sugar Rush (Sugar Bowl #2) by Sawyer Bennett 5 stars!
