I spent twenty years waiting for Trent Hennington to open his eyes and see me. But it was all for nothing. He chose to keep himself guarded and let me walk away, proving that my time and efforts were wasted.
I’m done being invisible. It’s time to move on.
A single dance sets my new reality into motion, and I welcome it. After all, Cooper Townsend is perfect. He’s kind, sexy, and attentive—everything a girl could want.
I thought I got it right this time. That my heart could mend, and I would be happy. Apparently, some things really are just too hard to walk away from.
What do you do if you have loved one man for over twenty years, but never commits? If you are Grace you have had enough, even if that man is Trent Hennington. In Say I’m Yours by Corinne Michaels we get all the feels as we get Trent and Grace’s story.
Grace has loved Trent Hennington for twenty years. She has always known he was the one for her, but every time they get too close, Trent pushes her away. And every time she breaks a little more. She cannot take it anymore. Grace finally stands up for herself and steps away from Trent. She is ready for marriage and family and if Trent is not willing to give that to her, maybe it is time for her to find someone who would.
Trent Hennington loves Grace. She has been in his life for as long as he can remember and have been involved for twenty years. He wants her, but something holds him back. Not being able to explain it to Grace, he thought they would okay as is, with no changes. But then Grace walks away and everything changes.
I loved Grace and Trent. Grace is sweet and caring. But she is falling apart waiting for Trent. At some point, something has to give. Trent is strong and determined, but for some reason, he stops himself from having it all with Grace. But when you are about to lose everything you want and love, can you get it back?
This story was so emotional. Grace finally stood up for herself, even as her heart was breaking. Trent began to realize what matters most to him. Throw in another handsome cowboy, meddling old ladies who mean well and friends and family and you have a story that will consume you.
I loved Say I’m Yours by Corinne Michaels. Even as Grace and Trent were trying to figure their issues out, other questions come to light that threatens everything they have ever known. Can they find a way back to each other? All in all, it was a great ending to the Hennington brother’s stories and I will miss this little town and all its’ residents.
Say I’m Yours by Corinne Michaels was a 5+ read for me!
