For so long, I lived for revenge. Now I live for her.
Ask anyone and they’ll tell you that Quinn Blackwood is not someone you mess with. I see. I want. I take. And you better not get in my way. That’s how I built my billion-dollar empire. That’s how I made my enemies pay. That’s how I won the one good, pure thing in my life, Elyse “Lucky” Gilbert. But after what I’ve done, my luck may have run out.

There is a fine line between love and obsession.
I’m not a fool. I didn’t think coming back to Quinn would be easy. That we would fall into a happy future and the darkness inside him would just disappear. Still, after everything we’ve been through, I couldn’t leave him to fight his demons alone. I’ve tried to convince myself nothing else matters as long as we’re together. But if I give him what he needs, will there be anything left of me?

Yet another stunning book by Zara Cox! Wicked S.O.B. is a return to the characters of Quinn and Elyse from book one. I love when authors afford readers another look into some of our favorite couples and this one was incredibly well done. Dealing mostly with the aftermath of the book one conclusion, Quinn is grappling with how to live a normal life now that he’s free from his self imposed shackles. He clearly is very dependent on Elyse as she is the one who keeps him grounded on a day to day basis. That creates a lot of pressure on her and the weight of that comes to a head when she leaves for a few days to visit her sister.

Add to that, Elyse has someone who has been stalking her but being afraid of Quinn’s violent reaction, she keeps it a secret. As incidents escalate she finds help with the local police, but even they are having trouble locating the perpetrator. Her need to shield Quinn was admiral but he needed to learn how to function without fear of Elyse up and leaving him for his own good. Of course, in turn Elyse needed to trust in him more. I also liked how the author incorporated the much needed therapy these two desperately needed. It gave them a more real quality in this overly dramatic world.

The sex scenes were phenomenal and just as hot as the original book. Zara Cox knows how to pique my interest, hold it steady and ramp up the book in subtle notches. Wicked S.O.B. is a winner through and through!

I give Wicked S.O.B. by Zara Cox 5 stars!
